Python slithers to 'significant' release: Version 2.5

"The open source community this week hailed the most significant update to Python in five years Python 2.5 contains major improvements in reliability, performance and efficiency, according to release manager Anthony Baxter. It fixes 450 bugs found since the release of Python 2.4 and features 350 patches." Link to Python.org release announcement.

Note from the Nerd: Awesome. This new version of Python looks a whole lot better than the old one. BUT, who am I to say? Check it out for yourself. I really need to start Python again, just I can't find much inspiration in teaching it to myself. Anybody out there with good tips?
